Prerequisites Needed to Study Equity Studies in Canada

Several schools offer certificates and diplomas in equity studies, social justice, or human rights, usually as extension or continuing education programs. Some schools require completion of high school for admission; others have no specific academic requirements and these programs can be taken concurrently with a separate undergraduate degree.

To be admitted to an undergraduate program in equity or human rights studies, students must have completed high school with at least a C+ in English (although many schools will require a higher average).
