What services does your organization provide?
Volunteers provide assistance for residents, clients and patients in various communities and settings in order to enhance their quality of life and assist with maintaining independance.

Do you have any age requirements?
All ages welcome.

Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
We have a volunteer translator interpretor listing for use to assist with people whose first language may not be english and need treatment options explained. We always look for more volunteers in this area.

What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Whatever they are willing to provide.

Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Completed Application, Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector and Confidentiality Agreement must be submitted.

Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Not generally- may be specific requirements for i.e. a transportation volunteer needs to have a valid drivers license.

What type of volunteer positions are typically available?
Activity Helper, Meals on Wheels Volunteer, Transportation Volunteer, Errand/Shopping/Appointment Assistance
