A Fundraising Coordinator does the work for the Foundation Board and the Foundation office. Rocmaura Inc. Board has stress that a Foundation office is required to generate additional funds for the needs of the Home that the Government does not eagerly supply in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and as well to assist the staff. For example additional lifts, electric beds, geriatric chairs, to name only a few.

I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to accept this challenge and I am here today to inform you that fundraising events as well as long term initiatives to increase revenue will be implemented with the support of the Board members.

Volunteers play a crucial role for the success of the Foundation. From what I have seen the last few years I have been here, Rocmaura is very blessed to have such an awesome Auxiliary group as yourselves and other dedicated long service volunteers. On behalf of the Foundation Chair, the Board members and myself many thanks for all that you do for Rocmaura. You are all to be commended and blessed for your efforts and generosity. Sally Cummings/Coordinator
