What services does your organization provide?

  • Leadership development programs for BC based non-Aboriginal and Aboriginal women
  • Career exploration programs for BC Based non-Aboriginal and Aboriginal women
  • Education Awards for BC Based non-Aboriginal and Aboriginal women


Do you have any age requirements?
Women and men of all ages are welcome to join us.


Do you require language proficiency other than in English?
No.


What time commitment(s) are you expecting from a volunteer?
Anywhere from 2 hours for a mentoring session to multi-year commitments to committees, to 4 hours of work at events.


Are there any other requirements for being a volunteer?
Positive attitude,ability to remain confidential with sensitive matters.


Are there any specific skills and experience required?
Availability during weekedays or weekday evenings
Valuable skills such as mentoring experience, committee work, administarive abilities, or specialized skills such as driving, photography and design.

Is there any training provided for volunteers?
Training is provided when applicable, but there is no specialized orientation

Yes and we also love to have graduate students who are fullfilling praticum or internship hours and projects
