This will depend on the type of work they plan to volunteer for. Generally, it will be helpful to have some office admin/reception skills; customer service; ability process sales.

Reception; Parking Permit Sales; Newsletter writing/editing; Scribing services for persons with disabilties applying for various benefits; admin support; mentoring for job seekers or newly employed.


Is there any training provided for volunteers?
Yes, initially shadowing other staff, then one to one training on the job or in the case of scribe services, formal training.
