Aim
The University aims at developing high competence that is needed in entrepreneurship, public sector, and companies, both at domestic and international level. The center of expertise of this University, which has been developed with the support of municipalities and companies, promotes degree programs and higher studies, along with research.
Field of Study
HAMK University of Applied Sciences provides study programs in Natural Resources & Environment, Culture, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Social Services, Business & Administration, Technology, Health & Sports, Tourism, Communication & Transport, Vocational Teacher Education, and Catering & Domestic Services.
All degree programs are taught in Finnish, except International Business program taught in Valkeakoski, Construction Engineering program in Hämeenlinna, and Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology program in Riihimäki, which are taught in English.
From autumn 2008, degree programs in Supply Chain Management and Automation Engineering will also be taught in English.
