The Lund University is one of the largest universities in teaching and research in Sweden. The university also attracts the international students through its extensive range of course programs in a wide variety of subject areas. The university is located in the city of Lund. You can locate this city in Southern Sweden, very close to Denmark and northern Germany.

The Lund University opened its doors for students in the year 1966. As per the current statistics, in this international center for research and education, there are over forty thousand students enrolled in various course programs. The student community includes a large number of international students that come from various parts of the world as well.

The medium of instruction in the various courses offered by the Lund University are both English and Swedish. The programs that are offered in English include three hundred single subject course programs, fifty master’s degree programs, and various PhD study programs and post graduate research study programs.

The programs offered in Swedish in the Lund University include one hundred and thirty seven undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and sixteen hundred single subject course programs. The university runs its academic venture through just one campus that is located in Lund.

There are eight faculties in the university, including the faculty of engineering, the faculty of science, the faculty of law, the faculty of social sciences, the faculty of medicine, the faculty of humanities and theology and the school of economics and management.
