Profile of Career College/Trade School

Beauty Tech Esthetic School is a private career college located in the city of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada. It came into being in 1996 when Angella Jensen, a former teacher, founded it to train budding beauticians. Beauty-Tech Esthetic School has grown a lot since then. It now has fully trained staff and can accommodate more than 50 students at a go.

Beauty Tech Esthetic School provides 2 full-time programs and more than 30 courses in different aspects of beauty culture. Full-time programs include an Esthetics Diploma, a Nail Technician Certificate and an Evening Nail Technician Certificate. These programs consist of courses on subjects such as bacteriology, pedicure, manicure, eyelash tinting, anatomy, facials, skin diseases, waxing, body electrics and makeup.

Beauty Tech Esthetic School is accredited by Comité International D’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie or CIDESCO. Students who complete the courses here are qualified to sit for the CIDESCO Diploma Exam that is equal to a master’s degree. This diploma is recognized in 33 countries as the highest level of esthetics training achievable.

The School has facilities that include the latest beauty equipment and fully licensed instructors. The small class size allows individual attention to the needs of students. After graduation, students are employed in the field of esthetics and beauty as beauticians, massage therapists, makeup artists, nail technicians and aromatherapy practitioners.
