The Canada International College offers courses in English as a Second Language (ESL) to international students. The college conducts winter, spring, summer and fall programs for students of ESL. Apart from that, students can also opt for TESL Certificate and Diploma programs, and TOEFL preparation exams.
Apart from courses for students keen to improve their English, the Canada International College also offers training to educators interested in teaching English. The Principals Training Services Training is a course towards that end.
The Canada International College has been offering its courses since 2003. It is a branch of the Coquitlam School District, and offers a welcoming atmosphere for students from around the world. Coquitlam, in which the school is located, is a ski resort. Students come here from countries as diverse as Japan and Hungary to learn English to become eligible for other courses in Canada.
Classes at the Canada International College have a teacher student ratio of 1:20, making training efficient. You can select course duration depending on your needs, from programs of 4, 6 or 14 weeks. To make it more convenient for students, the college now offers online ESL testing.
The courses on offer are recognized by major Canadian and international universities. The college is also a partner of the Canadian Youth Business Skills Foundation.
