Profile of Career College/Trade School

Canadian Traffic Education Centre was established in 1998 and is a licensed Advanced Driver Training School for automobiles in the Province of Alberta. It offers four levels of collision investigation courses as well as other specialty courses. It also offers professional driver training programs.

The driver training programs help students become safe and responsible drivers, trained by experts who identify areas that individual students need improvement and guide them accordingly. The students of the forensic photography program are trained using theory as well as practical classes. Students are required to bring their own camera but films are provided by the institution. An interesting program in forensic mapping is also offered that is taken up by employees of insurance firms, private investigators, lawyers etc.

The students are also offered a course in Interviewing Techniques & Statement Analysis to help the identify deception and deceit. They are taught to study body language, conduct suspect interviews, etc. Theory as well as practical classes helps students train better.

Canadian Traffic Education Centre carefully selects and appoints certified and licensed advanced driver training instructors to ensure that the students are trained by qualified and experienced experts. The staff members have years of experience training the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and other law enforcement agency personnel.

The Canadian Traffic Education Centre established the Advanced Driver Training division in 1999 and is the first institution in Western Canada that has a skid platform that is available to the public. It has also been equipped with the state-of-the-art driving simulator.
