Once you successfully complete the courses, you will be ready for employment as a Level One Apprentice by the food industry including catering companies, institutions, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, and cruise ships. Usually, the course providing basic cooking skills is for around a year. However, if you want to update any specific culinary skills of yours, you can easily attend a shorter course.
The Cascade Culinary Art School has a live kitchen. Training is provided from there to create a real-life atmosphere for the students who aspire to become professional cooks. The students are taught to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are also exposed to the challenges of serving large groups of guests.
