Champlain Institute, Toronto, Ontario, is registered as a private vocational college with the Ministry of Training for College and Universities. It is a member of the Ontario Association of Career Colleges and the National Association of Career Colleges. The college has an on-site full day spa to help provide practical training to its aesthetics students.
The Faculty of Aesthetics and the Faculty of Business of the Champlain Institute offer intensive diploma and certificate level programs. The instructors are highly qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and teach the techniques and skills that are currently in demand. The instructors are professionally very experienced, too. The courses start every other month, and both morning and evening classes are available.
Faculty of Aesthetics offers programs such as Advanced Aesthetics Diploma, Body Massage & Spa Therapy Certificate, Certified Laser Specialist Certificate, Makeup Artistry Certificate, Manicure & Pedicure Certificate, Medical Spa Therapies Certificate, and the Spa Manager Diploma. Faculty of Business offers programs such as Advanced Microsoft Office Certificate, Basic Microsoft Office Certificate, Computerized Accounting Certificate, ECE Assistant Diploma, and the Small Business Management Certificate. These programs help train students for careers within a matter of a few months.
Financial aid such as federal and provincial student loans is available, as are student lines of credit. The classes have a 12:1 student/instructor ratio. The institution also offers job placement services. The students are trained with the most up-to-date facilities and equipment.
