Consolidated Fluid Power Training Tec, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is a private school dedicated solely to educating students in hydraulics. It has branches in Burlington, ON and Seal Cove, NL. The Dartmouth branch has two full-size classrooms, a workshop and a training lab equipped with eight custom-designed trainer tables. The school has some of the best facilities and equipment to help students get quality training.
Consolidated Fluid Power Training Tec also has three portable trainer tables that are used for the onsite standard and custom courses conducted at the premises of its various clients in Canada and the US. The institution offers four standard {Level I through IV} CFP Training Tec’s programs that have durations of one week each.
A 14-week intensive Comprehensive Hydraulic Training (CHT) Program is also offered to train students who desire to have a career in hydraulics. The course covers topics such as contamination prevention, control and monitoring, proper system installation, open and closed center systems, variable displacement pump controls as well as about electro-hydraulic controls. CFP Training Tec offers the U.S.-based Fluid Power Society Certification to all of its successful CHT Program graduates.
The school provides training for industrial, mobile, and marine clients and the instructors are highly qualified holding various levels of Fluid Power Society Certification. Students have job opportunities areas of hydraulics such as in sales, service, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
