The Culinary Arts School of Ontario is located in the province of Ontario and is registered as a Private Career College. It currently offers certificate, diploma and skill classes for various aspects of the culinary arts. The Culinary Arts School of Ontario offers courses both for serious culinary students and for those who are simply looking to try out new kinds of cooking. This job placement service is a lifelong service that helps with matters such as resume development, job search skills and employment assistance. Students are also given access to a number of resource services.
The courses provided at the Culinary Arts School of Ontario cover aspects of food science and cooking methods. Course instruction covers workbook exercises as well as practical kitchen work. Students will also work in Production Kitchen Modules to help them gain experience in working in a professional kitchen set up. The college currently offers culinary arts and culinary management diplomas, a Red Seal certificate course and a range of skill classes for aspects such as culinary essentials, salads and salad dressings, vegetables, stocks and soups. Essential Cooking Series classes are also available every Saturday afternoon.
