Excel Flight Training Incorporated is situated at the Lethbridge County Airport. It offers several programs that help students train for successful careers in the field of Aviation. These programs have been developed to meet the growing need for students to receive quality training in the skills and aptitudes necessary to be successful commercial or private pilots.
Excel Flight Training Incorporated has dedicated and well qualified flight instructors who are experts with a lot of experience. They use various instructional techniques to ensure the successful training of the students. The students are give pre flight and post flight briefings as well as personalized attention as the class sizes are kept small.
Excel Flight Training Incorporated offers professional, commercial and private pilot license programs among other flight rating programs. It offers training to students in aircrafts such as Piper Aztec, Piper Warrior and Cessna. The students get trained within 8 to 10 months getting poised for extremely rewarding careers. The students who aspire to join the programs are required to possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Private and commercial pilot ground schools have duration of 4 weeks with a 2 week instrument ground school. Students can complete the written examination at the Transport Canada office in Calgary and they can complete their flight examinations at the institution.
The students are offered financial assistance in the form of Canada and Alberta student loans and government grants, bursaries etc.
