Gateway College was established as Community Professional Medical Careers Ltd. in 1986. The institution frequently updates its curriculum to ensure that students get trained in the skills that are current and in demand. The students are trained in a modern facility housing the latest in technology to ensure that the students get an enhanced learning experience.
Gateway College offers several programs that train students for entry level jobs in the health care and hospitality industry. The students can take up programs that can lead to certificates and diplomas. Students can take up these programs at their convenience as both full and part-time programs are available. The programs have durations ranging from one day to two years.
All the instructors at the Gateway College are registered nurses or industry professionals with great amount of experience in field as well as in teaching. The maximum number of students in each class is about 24. Theories as well as practical classes that are conducted, ensure that students get a comprehensive training that enables them to face their work environment with confidence. The institution extends a wide range of services to the international students.
Students can avail of Canada and British Columbia student loans and students can also relax as the credits are transferable. Students who successfully complete the program have a wide variety of employment prospects in hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, retirement homes etc.
