Gillette's Hair and Nail Education Center is a training center and a commercial cosmetology salon. It can house around twenty-six hairdressing students and twelve nail technician students. These students are given hands on experience in a real live environment. The local residents can take advantage of the services at a lower price than other posh salons. To aid students in funding their program the school is nominated under the British Columbia Student Assistance Program. Other grant options available for students include funding through the Human Resources Development Canada (EI) and payment plans through the school.
