This private career college was registered and accredited in May 2000 by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of BC in Canada. The programs have also been approved by the official licensing authority - College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists.

The Traditional Chinese Medicine College of Vancouver has programs that are designed according to the guidelines laid down by the CTCMA of British Columbia. Credits can be transferred from other courses or universities. The programs allow graduates to apply for licensing examinations held in different countries.
