The John F. Kennedy Business Centre was founded in 1987 and is located in Montreal. It is part of the English Montreal School Board and offers a range of business courses and programs geared towards starting a new business. The institute began with just 60 students and now caters to the needs of over 600. The institute also has a job placement rate of over 95% for its graduates.
The John F. Kennedy Business Centre offers diploma programs on a full time and part time basis. These courses can be completed in a year and new classes begin every six weeks. The institute also offers free tuition for up to $15000. A work-study program is also available which gives students the opportunity to connect with one of the many industry contacts the institute has.
The John F. Kennedy Business Centre offers training to be an administrative assistant, accounting, travel sales, professional sales, legal secretarial studies and hotel reception. The institute also offers a course which teaches students the aspects involved in starting a business. These include learning how to create a business plan outline, how to secure financing, sales techniques and aspects of business administration.
Apart from the many business partners that the John F. Kennedy Business Centre has and its vibrant work-study program, the institute also runs events like 'Meet The Business Community' in order to help students build their networking skills and learn more about the industry and workforce they are about to enter.
