The Stanford International College of Business & Technology is located in the province of Ontario and offers a number of diploma, pre-exam and certificate courses on many business and technology- related subjects. The college is a recognized and approved Private Career College. It also offers regular workshops and free seminars on a weekly basis. The college offers a number of pre-exam courses which are approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. Programs are available for subjects such as welding, refrigeration and robotics. The college offers both theoretical training as well as practical work experience in conjunction with local employers. Certificate courses are also available for programs such as gas technician, mechanical engineer and hospitality. These courses also provide hands-on-work experience as part of the course material. The Stanford International College of Business & Technology also offers diploma programs for business management, hospitality and tourism. The business management course covers two years and includes free college and business English courses. The hospitality and tourism diploma is offered in partnership with Cape Breton University and the college is also an approved test center by the American Travel Institute. The college also offers a range of student services which include housing and banking assistance, university transfer counseling, visa assistance, career counseling and immigration guidance. A free computer lab is also available for student use at the college.
