West Coast College of Health Care, Surrey, is accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency of British Columbia. The programs offered by the college focuses on healthcare and human services. The students are offered training in theoretical, technical and clinical skills.
It is the first private college in the Lower Mainland to offer a Dental Assistant program that is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada. West Coast College of Health Care offers programs such as Medical Laboratory Assistant [28 weeks duration] and Pharmacy Technician, Veterinary Assistant [6 ½ months duration], Resident Care Attendant, Community Support/Justice Worker [39 weeks duration], Certified Dental Assistant [11 months duration] programs.
Students are offered a number of financial aid schemes as well as help in selecting the right financial aid package. The Community Support/Justice Worker program has been chosen by the Red River College to provide a dual Certificate in Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/Effect.
