William Davis Centre for Actors' Study, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada has been providing training since 1989 and was founded by William B. Davis. It is a private training institution that is accredited by the Private Career Training Institutions Agency. It is also accredited by the PPSEC. William Davis Centre for Actors' Study is now owned by Christine Willes and Greg Kean, who worked at the school prior to becoming proprietors.
William Davis Centre for Actors' Study offers two full-time programs, the Intensive program and the Independent Programs of Study. The intensive program is offered for duration of 8 months for students who have a background in acting.
The class size is small, restricted to 8 to 12 students who are trained to become professional actors. They are given rigorous training in aspects such as Scene study, Shakespeare, acting for film and television, voice, physical training and audition techniques etc. The students have casting workshops and are given the chance to work with some talented and experienced directors.
Teen On-Camera Boot Camp, Teen Scenes On-Camera, Acting for Kids, Acting for ESL , Audition Technique - Special Project, Performance Project, Rehearsal Project, Physical Training, Accent Reduction, Voice & Speech, Acting Technique, Acting Shakespeare, Film & TV - Special Project, Film & TV, Audition Workout, Acting for Film and TV, Acting Technique: Meisner, Acting Technique: Evening Scene Study, Private Coaching, Introduction to Acting and its follow up etc. are some of the part-time programs offered.
