  • Justice Studies Diploma: Correctional Studies Specialization - Bow Valley College
    The Justice Studies Diploma at Bow Valley College is a two-year (four semester) career program that allows someone to specialize in youth justice, law enforcement, or correctional studies. All Justice Studies Diploma students take the same set of courses in Year 1 and take courses specific to their specialization in Year 2.

    Grant MacEwan College's Certificate in Aboriginal Police Studies is a 9-month program 'specifically designed to meet the growing demand for well-prepared Aboriginal policing recruits.' Policing courses will be 'delivered in a cultural context that specializes in issues facing Aboriginal communities' that will enable students to understand 'the dynamics between Aboriginal and Western cultures and 'explore their own sense of cultural identity.'
