Simon Fraser University's Master of Business Administration in Biotechnology is designed for individuals who want to garner 'the knowledge base and managerial capacities to excel in' the Biotechnology industry. The Program's curriculum is developed in cooperation with many of British Columbia's elite technology-based corporations to ensure that it is relevant to the real world. Students may complete their respective MBAs on campus at Vancouver at SFU's Segal Graduate School in either 12 months on a full-time basis or in 24 months on a part-time schedule; students are also afforded the option of completing the entire program online but on a part-time basis only. Whether the student learns on-campus or online, all students must attend a week-long "Leadership Intensive" which is held at the beginning of each semester and 'focuses on a particular aspect of leadership and combines academic activities with personal and professional development workshops.' |
