Profile of SFU MBA Program Simon Fraser UniversityWith its primary mission being 'to produce broadly educated, enterprising and socially responsible managers capable of making lasting contributions to their communities,' Simon Fraser University's Segal Graduate School of Business, located in downtown Vancouver, is the first facility in western Canada exclusively designed for graduate business education. Programs at the School are flexible, innovative, and relevant and are developed and supported through a comprehensive partnership with a wide-array of public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. The Business School at Simon Fraser University offers over 6 major programs including Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Biotechnology, MBA in Global Asset and Wealth Management, MBA in Management of Technology (offered full-time, part-time, or online), Master in Financial Risk Management, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (online), and Ph.D. in Business Administration. Students may expand their educational experience via co-operative learning, internships, and international student exchanges. Executive level education is also available including the CMA Executive Program, Executive MBA, Directors Education Program (offered jointly with UBCÆs Sauder School of Business, Rotman School of Management, and the ICD Corporate Governance), Executive Management Program, and Customized and Corporate Education (offered in tandem with the Learning Strategies Group (LSG). The School is home to some of the most advanced business research amenities in Canada including the CIBC Centre for Corporate Governance and Risk Management and the CMA Centre for Strategic Change and Performance Management. Plans are underway to open the Centre for Building Sustainable Enterprises, Centre for Global Asset and Wealth Management, and Centre for Technology and Innovation. |
