Students are given a broad overview of the history and scope of disabilities, methodologies to allow them to support persons with disabilities in their struggle to take control of their lives, and the ethical considerations of disability policies. Depending on their area of interest or professional background, they can focus on issues of health, education, justice or welfare reform.
