Admission to the graduate level programs in geophysics requires an undergraduate degree in a related field such as geology, physics, or geophysics, with at least a B+ average. To get into the PhD program you must have a completed Master's-level degree, although some schools allow students to transfer into the PhD program after one year in the Master's program. A supervisor must be chosen prior to final admission.
