Admission to McMaster's diploma program in nuclear technology requires a previous undergraduate degree in engineering, physics, or math. Work experience in a relevant field is an asset.

For UOIT's and UNB's undergraduate degree programs, completion of high school is a requirement, with an average of at least 70%. English, calculus, chemistry, and physics are required.
