What do Renewable Resources students learn?Renewable resource degrees tend to be interdisciplinary in nature, encompassing a wide range of sciences including biology, chemistry, atmospheric, environmental and physical science, as well as other disciplines such as economics, native studies and management. Closely related to environmental and conservation science programs, they teach students to be effective stewards of natural resources. Students may specialize in areas such as conservation biology, rangeland management, forestry, environmental economics and policies, land reclamation, and wildlife management.
