Peter B. Gustavson School of Business

The University of Victoria's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is designed to graduate students with the broad-based and cross-functional strategic approach to business decision-making which is required to understand and resolve complex business issues and problems. The Program will expose participants to a broad understanding of the key functional areas of business and their interdependence as well as to relevant international business issues while enabling students to specialize in 1 of 3 areas, including Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Service Management. The Program also affords students numerous opportunities to study abroad including the option to pursue a Global MBA (GMBA). The latter, which is offered in partnership with Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria and the National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, requires students to spend eight weeks of study at each participating institution during the final semester of their respective MBA programs. Participants in the GMBA must 'pay a program fee of $4000' as well as all 'travel and living expenses.' The University of Victoria's MBA program may be completed in 17 months on a full-time basis or within 3 years on a part-time schedule.
