MBA and Business Degree Programs at University of Northern British Columbia

Profile of MBA Program - University of Northern British Columbia

The University of Northern British Columbia, located in Prince George, B.C. is one of Canada’s premier small universities. We share our passion for excellence by creating opportunities for students to excel. As Canada’s Green University we take pride in exploring relationships between people and the environment that leads to a more sustainable future. Our university provides a learning environment with smaller class sizes that are friendly, active, inclusive and supportive. Being one of B.C.’s research universities, we strive to bring the excitement of new knowledge to our students.

The MBA is a full-time program designed for working professionals. Classes are scheduled one weekend per month, including two one week residency weeks in the first year, primarily in Prince George. The program is based around a cohort of students who start and complete the program together. Class sizes are limited with a high degree of flexibility to allow students to obtain a graduate degree while maintaining employment. While in the program students develop lifelong business networks and sharpen their management skills in preparation for a career move to a senior or general management position. Because of our weekend format many people find it convenient to travel from other locations to attend classes. For many this is a unique opportunity to obtain an MBA degree that pays dividends long into the future.
