Prerequisites for Graduate Studies in Chemical Physics

UAlberta and UGuelph offer graduate programs in chemical physics. Students must have an undergraduate degree in chemistry, physics, physical chemistry, or chemical physics for admission, with at least a B+ average. Experience in this field, either through that gained through co-op, directed studies, or industry employment, is an asset. To be admitted to a PhD program in chemical physics, students must have a Master's degree in a related subject. For all graduate programs, students must have a supervisor chosen prior to final admission.
