The Ability Learning Network is a recognized private career college, which offers specialized courses in building repair and maintenance. The college established in 1993, is located in the province of Ontario. It is currently registered with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and provides job placement assistance for its graduates.

The Ability Network works in conjunction with both employers and workers to provide the optimum kind of training programs that benefit both the employer and the employee. The courses deal with up-to-date techniques and methods for the most effective kind of building repair and maintenance. Students will learn about plumbing, carpentry and millwork, drywall repair, painting and workplace safety.

The college also offers specialized training services to help graduates find and maintain the right kind of employment. This training includes job coaching and searching skills, conflict resolution workshops, stress and anger management and tips on how to create an effective resume.

In order to keep up with new trends in the building and construction industry, The Ability Network is involved in a number of special projects which give its students valuable hands-on experience and training. The college is currently involved in projects with the Toronto Community Housing Corporation, Human Resources Development Canada and Ontario Works.

The Ability Network also offers specialized training in skill assessment, workplace conditioning and training and occupational health and safety. A special course on self-employment opportunities is also offered for those looking to start their own business.
