Calgary Flight Training Center has been offering training to budding pilots for the last 25 years. It is located at the south end of Calgary International Airport in the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. The center is a private career college that is certified as a flight training facility by Transport Canada.
Calgary Flight Training Center provides Private Pilot and Commercial Pilot training courses as well as an Aviation Diploma Program and a Flight Instructor Program. The training instructors at Calgary Flight Training Center are highly trained professionals who have many years experience flying different types of aircraft. They inform students about the latest technologies related to the industry.
The training fleet includes 2 Cessna 172’s, 2 Diamond Katanas, one Diamond Star DA40, and one twin Piper Aztec. New aircraft includes the Cessna Skyhawk SP, Diamond Evolution DA20 and Diamond Star DA 40. Ground training is offered in a spacious classroom with audiovisual equipment. Instrument training is provided on an Elite FTD simulator while preflight briefings are given in the briefing rooms.
Calgary Flight Training Centre offers classes every day of the week. Scheduling of lessons is available through an online reservation system. This allows you to choose a program according to your agenda. After completion of the course, graduates may find employment with airline companies around the world. Many have opened flight schools and become Flight Instructors themselves.
