Danbro Truck Training was founded in 1985 in Ontario and offers a wide range of comprehensive professional driving programs. The institute is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Ontario Trucking Association, Truck Training School Association of Ontario and the Global Risk Management Institute. It offers both full time and part time training courses to suit the needs of its students. Danbro Truck Training offers a number of training packages which are suited to industry needs as well as the individual strengths of the student. All students work on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. The institute has a yard with five loading docks for developing practical driving skills. Students can opt for class A, B or D programs which are professional packages, complete with tests and demos. Specialized refresher courses are also available for experienced drivers. At the end of each course, the institute will book driving tests for the students and allow them the use of institute vehicles. The institute also offers a range of corporate seminars which are provided onsite for employer convenience. A range of courses are offered including programs on air brake endorsement, air brake adjustment, driver improvement, skid control and first aid. Danbro Truck Training also offers special mountain driving courses, which are approved by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario. These are defensive driving courses which cover 10 hours of instruction in the vehicle and 25 hours in the classroom. Pick up and drop facility is also available.
