Netcom provides two-year diploma courses as well as a full time six-month course. There are also a number of short time courses that are offered by Netcom. Around 400 Microsoft Certified professionals, 70 Netware Certified Engineers, 200 Microsoft System engineers, 25 Microsoft Database Administrators and a couple of Cisco Certified Associates have been produced by Netcom. The teaching faculty is also available by phone or fax even after the students have graduated so that the education does not stop at the end of the course.
Members of the staff of Netcom also do consulting and IT related services, such as software development and support networking. They also provide training in Information Technology to employees of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, The Royal Bank, Rogers Communications, and World vision.
The approach to training at Netcom is totally student centered. The faculty at Netcom is highly trained, and has been employed with companies such as IBM and Microsoft. There are 30 full time and part time teachers at Netcom and they have almost 16 years experience in the field of IT.
The curriculum at Netcom is designed in such a way that they will come to use in Canada as well as in other developing countries. Through continuous research the teaching at Netcom is also highly up-to-date.
The main aim of the highly dedicated faculty at Netcom is to provide education in such a way so that the students may attain a good career. The educational programs are innovative and career oriented.
