Shadd Business Centre offers programs that train adults in a variety of programs related to business. The institution caters to adult learners who desire to upgrade their existing skills, who are returning to school after a break as well as to those who quit school due to family commitments. The institution offers Vocational Diploma in Accounting and in Secretarial Studies. It also plans to offer advanced vocational diplomas that train students to become legal secretaries and the institution also plans to offer various business programs. Shadd Business Centre offers programs such as administrative assistant, accounting and secretarial studies programs that train students to work in the administrative departments of offices. The students are trained to work as team players as well as trained to use technology in the office environment. They are also trained to communicate verbally as well as in writing, and are trained to integrate well with their work environment. Students may also take a program that helps them plan, start and run a business. Shadd Business Centre offers all full-time students aid in securing financial assistance such as loans, bursaries etc. All programs have duration of 30 hours and day time classes are conducted between 8.30 a.m. and 3.40 p.m. Part time programs are conducted between 6.00 p.m. and 10.15 p.m. The institution offers students career counseling services as well as community support services.
