If you would like to ride in an ambulance as a Paramedic, then give your career a shot in the arm by applying for a course at Atlantic Paramedic Academy. This academy was established in 2001 by St. John Ambulance. St. John Ambulance is known as "Canada’s Leader in First Aid Training" and has been involved in training Ambulance Personnel for more than a quarter of a century. Atlantic Paramedic Academy is located in New Brunswick in Canada. It has a range of programs that train paramedics and ambulance personnel as well as first aid programs tailored for individuals and workplace needs. These courses can be customized to meet the special needs of different companies with modules that can be taken separately. The paramedic training provided by Atlantic Paramedic Academy includes courses on first aid, CPR, and the use of ambulance equipment. The academy has the latest ambulance facilities and trained instructors. The courses are available in English and French. Students who graduate from the course can get an entry-level job as an ambulance attendant either with St. John Ambulance or with local hospitals. St. John Ambulance is recognized by the Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Commission under the Occupational Health and Safety Act as a first aid and training supplier in New Brunswick.
