What is Biophysics?
Biophysics (also called biological physics) is an interdisciplinary science that applies the principles of physics and chemistry and the methods of mathematics and computers to understand how living things work. Biophysics gives us the tools to understand the molecular basis of diseases.
Medical physics is the application of physics to medicine, usually as applied to medical imaging and radiotherapy. Medical physicists usually specialize in various forms of therapy, but others work in diagnostic imaging or nuclear medicine.
