To be admitted to either program, students must have completed an undergraduate degree in a related field such as forestry or environmental science with at least a B+ average. Experience working in parks, nature centers, or similar venues is an asset.

To be admitted to a PhD program in forestry, students must have a Master's-level degree in forestry.
