The Atlantic Forensic Investigations & Consultants Ltd School of Investigation to provide training in the skills required to carry out a thorough investigation, as there is a great demand for professional Investigators. Those already in the investigative profession can enhance their skills by undergoing this training. Others can consider this as a new career opportunity. The instructors who train the students are registered under the New Brunswick Private Occupational Training Act and are highly experienced experts in their respective field of investigation. Experienced Lawyers, Police Investigative Specialists, Government and Private Investigators instruct the students in their particular field of expertise. The three-month Investigators’ Course focuses on developing the student’s knowledge, skills and abilities to carry out a thorough and systematic investigation. Students go through continuous practical, written and oral assessments during the course. Their knowledge of legal aspects and protocols and investigative techniques is evaluated. Other than its investigative services, the AFI&C Ltd also has programs where it conducts specialized training for the Police, Government, and Private Investigators. The program puts the students through practical exercises in carrying out investigations, preparing reports and providing appropriate testimony. Resource persons from the Police, Government, Corporate, and Private sectors help them do this. The school also coaches the students in resume and interview preparation and when they complete their courses, the school coordinates with potential employers to help them find the right job fit.
