 Profile of Career College/Trade School

Commercial Safety College is a registered private career college situated in Masstown in the province of Nova Scotia in Canada. The Masstown campus is spread over 160 acres. The college also has campuses at New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario. Commercial Safety College was founded almost 46 years ago in 1959. Since then, it has built a reputation of conducting training courses in operation of heavy equipment, truck, and bus driving. Over the years, it has also introduced new programs to teach commercial safety in other areas. The courses at Commercial Safety College are quite flexible, with students having the option to modify programs to suit requirements of individuals as well as corporate companies who pay to train their employees. Students who want to be a truck driver can choose from a three-week Straight Truck program that trains folks with no driving experience or a 12-week Tractor Trailer program that trains you for a long haul drive. There are other courses that train folks to work heavy equipment, like operating a school bus, forklift, crane, or boom. Classroom seminars are conducted at Commercial Safety College by trained instructors who have experience in the field. Students are also taught to work with air brakes, dangerous goods, and first aid. Though the college does not have any accommodation, it offers a list of nearby places that has rooms for boarding of students during their course period.
