Gander Flight Training is certified by Transport Canada and is a member of the Air Transport Association of Canada. It offers both fixed wing as well as helicopter pilot programs. Students can also opt for ski and seaplane training to give them an advantage in the competitive world of aviation.
Gander Flight Training offers students state-of-the-art facilities as well as highly skilled and trained instructors who are dedicated and sociable. The institution maintains a safe environment by following proper safety measures and by maintaining and servicing the aircrafts regularly. The Approved Maintenance Organization is in charge of maintaining and servicing the fleet. The institution boasts of an entire fleet of Cessnas, Schweizer 300 CB, Beechcraft 1900D, King Air 100, and a Piper Seminole. Theory part of the training is conducted in theater style classroom as well as in a top notch computer lab. The ground school training also involves multimedia presentations as well as computer programs. A well stocked technical library is also at the students’ disposal.
Students at the Gander Flight Training are trained during all seasons giving them the experience as well as confidence to handle flight in all weather conditions. Successful students of the institute have gone on to work with some of the leading airliners both national as well as international.
