Anokiiwin Training Institute is a full service aborigine owned institution that offers several training programs and services. The institution uses adult learning techniques that are further adjusted to meet the demands and the needs of each group of students. Each program is developed taking into consideration the specific needs of each particular group ensuring that they have an enhanced learning experience. Anokiiwin Training Institute offers several Diploma Courses that are registered with Manitoba Education under the Private Vocational Schools Act. It also offers financial aid services helping students secure Student Loans, Band Education Authorities, Unemployment Insurance or Program Sponsorships. The classes are offered 5 days a week for about four to five hours that are designed to help adult learners who have commitments at home. Anokiiwin Training Institute offers several workshops and seminars for both small and large groups. These workshops and seminars are individually customized and structured to suit the varying needs of the clients. It also offers numerous community-based training programs that are designed to ensure the students find and maintain successful employment after the training. It also offers a series of short computer courses that are offered in the evenings or on Saturdays. The various programs are taught by qualified and highly experienced instructors. The successful students find that they are confident and equipped to take up their professional responsibilities. These programs are suitable for those who seek employment for the first time as well as for those who are returning after a break.
