Niagara-on-the-Lake Culinary School Inc. is a privately owned vocational school, registered with the Ontario Ministry of Training and Education. Here students can pursue diploma courses in culinary education for a career in food service and hospitality industry. Apart from these, there are part time courses in hotel and restaurant management, recreation and development too.

The diploma courses namely, The Culinary Program and Hotel And Restaurant Program are two-year internship based programs. The former is certified by Human Resources Development, Canada and accredited by the Ministry Of Training, Colleges And Universities- Private Career Colleges Division. Besides practical, hands-on training, the curriculum also includes a year of work experience in a leading restaurant or hotel. This is a paid internship, which means that you earn while you study. The school also assists students with placements in Europe and North America through the International Chefs’ Program.
The part time courses are of short duration (1-3 days) and are developed to meet the special needs of busy professional chefs and hospitality experts who wish to hone their particular skills.
The unique campus of Niagara-on-the-Lake Culinary School Inc. is proud of its four deluxe hotels, three fine dining restaurants, a cafe and two wineries. Apart from them, training is also given at the Campus kitchen in St. Catherine’s that has over 2000 sq feet of cooking space.
Anyone who has Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) can apply for the diploma courses. Those who do not have one need to pass an entrance exam. International students seeking admissions for this institute should have authorization from the government of Canada.
