Let us start with the welding program offered by the UFCW Local 247 Training Center. Even if you are an entry-level welder you can learn the required knowledge. School offers training for the use of both stationary and portable welding tools. You will also learn about the metals and the processes of welding. You will also get the opportunity of experiencing practical welding construction projects.
Brazing and Soldering course at UFCW Local 247 Training Center teaches you hands on skills needed to get through the brazing examination, as the medical gas procedure requires. If you successfully participate you will be automatically registered with the Boiler and Safety Services Authority.
Another very useful program is Electrical Wiring and Controls. This program familiarizes you with the fundamentals of the electricity and electric controls. The object of this program is to make students aware of the wiring concepts and the theory of electric controls. This is the first part of the program and covers basic symbols, wiring practices, loads and switches, ladder diagrams, relays and transformers. The second part of the course covers wiring diagrams and circuits along with many other advanced things.
