Programs
From the Departments of Computer and Mathematical Science, Humanities, Life Sciences, Management, Physical and Environmental Sciences, and Social Sciences, the University of Toronto at Scarborough offers over 100 undergraduate degree opportunities, including majors, minors, and specializations, and 68 co-op learning options in more than 30 disciplines. The University of Toronto at Scarborough is the only campus of the University of Toronto that has the Bachelor of Business Administration. Additional undergraduate opportunities include 5 four-year joint degrees with Centennial College in Journalism, New Media Studies, Paramedicine, Environmental Science and Technology, and Industrial Microbiology. Graduate programs, from the master’s to doctorate level, from more than 80 graduate departments are also available at Scarborough. Moreover, the University of Toronto at Scarborough makes available 8 professional career preparation programs in Dentistry, Education/Teaching, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Social Work, and Speech Language Pathology; also available are the Summer Learning Institutes (SLI) programs for students who want to prepare for university studies and educators who want to enhance their teaching abilities.

As a campus of the University of Toronto, the University of Toronto at Scarborough has its own distinct nature including smaller enrollment and classes which allows more personalized instruction and interaction between teacher and student and between student and student while not limiting access to the amenities of the rest of the parent institution.. The Scarborough campus is the only campus of the University of Toronto that offers paid co-op learning opportunities and the only one that has a Bachelor of Business Administration program and joint programs with Centennial College. The University of Toronto at Scarborough is known for its innovative and unique research endeavours as it houses the Centre for Integrative Research on Stress and the Brain and Canada's only Environmental Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Centre.
