Programs
The University of Western Ontario provides a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including 66 masters and 43 doctorates, from 12 faculties and schools. Additionally, the University offers 18 diplomas and 14 certificates from the Faculties of Arts and Humanities, Education, Health Sciences, Law, Social Science, and the Don Wright Faculty of Music. The University also makes available for-credit or non-credit courses through correspondence and/or the internet. Further educational opportunities are offered at The University of Western Ontario’s 3 federated colleges to which students of the former have full access. These colleges include Brescia College, King’s College, and Huron University College

Interesting Facts
The residence program at the University of Western Ontario is considered to be one of the best in Canada. On campus, the University currently features 8 residences, which is home to over 4,000 students, some 400 apartments and townhouses strictly for married students or students with partners or families, and the University Community Centre which serves as an informal mini-mall with 21 retail outlets providing various goods and services. In addition, the University owns about 550 off-campus apartment units. Any first-year student who wants to live in University-owned housing is guaranteed a room. With over 7 locations and 7.7 million items in every major format as well as offering archives and special collections, the University of Western Ontario’s library is one of the most extensive in Canada. Also, the University is affiliated with 3 colleges, Brescia, Huron, and King’s, 2 teaching hospitals, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Jospeh's Health Care London, and 3 research institutes, John P. Robarts Research Institute, The Lawson Health Research Institute, and the London Regional Cancer Centre, all of which are accessible by students to enhance and expand their educational experience.
