Programs
York University offers over 260 degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including interdisciplinary options, from the Faculties of Arts, Education, Glendon, Environmental Studies, Fine Arts, and Science and Engineering along with the Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies, Osgoode Law School, and Schulich School of Business. Additionally, the University offers 17 graduate diplomas, which can be pursued only by current graduate students, and 5 post-graduate diplomas that may be pursued separately or in conjunction with a graduate degree. Students that want to attend schooling and/or engage in a co-op program in another country may do so through the University’s “York International,” which has partnerships with universities and businesses in 28 countries. York University also offers distance education courses and programs through its Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Studies via correspondence and/or online learning. Currently, 3 programs can be completed entirely through off-campus learning: Bachelor of Administrative Studies, Certificate in Management, and Master of Science in Nursing. Additionally, York University provides courses and programs, designed to further one's personal and/or professional abilities and pursuits, through its Continuing Education division; however, most of the latter’s offerings are restricted to individuals who have completed a degree.

Interesting Facts
York University is Canada’s third largest post-secondary institution and houses the most extensive Faculty of Arts and second biggest graduate school in the nation. The University’s library contains more than 6.5 million items including over 2.5 million books and some 13,000 subscriptions to e-journals. Additionally, the University has two student-run publications, three broadcast programs, two art galleries, and twenty-one research centres. York University has over 49,000 students and 7,000 faculty members spread over two campuses in Keele, which is the largest university campus in Canada in terms of area, and Glendon, both of which are in Toronto, Ontario.
