Unique programs are available in Aquatic Resources, Celtic Studies, Education, and Jazz Studies. The University’s Division of Continuing Education provides for-credit courses, on- and off-campus, to part-time students, for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Administration. The Division of Continuing Education also offers courses and programs in the fields of Education, including graduate-level studies, Ministry, and Nursing. Interesting Facts ST. Francis Xavier University is consistently ranked at or near the top of primarily undergraduate universities in Canada by Maclean’s Magazine. Currently, the University is undergoing an $85 million expansion and upgrade of its campus including two new residences, the Physical Sciences Complex, and the Charles V. Keating Millennium Centre, home to, among other things, conference facilities, an IT teaching centre, a physical fitness facility, and two ice rinks. StFX is also houses the 'Antigonish Movement,' a social development program founded by Reverends M.M Coady and J.J.
